The Evolution of Motion
At Astero Robotics, we believe that true precision is a journey, not a destination. To ensure your AMR-03 continues to move with perfect intention, we are rolling out a systemic firmware refinement throughout 2026.
If your unit has signaled a Firmware Update Alert in Serveobot mode, please know that this is a legitimate step in its evolution. This update is designed to harmonize sensor fusion and deepen the machine’s environmental awareness.
Navigating the Update Path
The update process is designed to be as fluid as the AMR’s own motion. In most cases, your unit will receive this new wisdom silently in the background.
Legitimacy of the Alert: Any notification received via the Astero Command Interface regarding "Firmware 2026.x" is verified and essential for long-term balance.
Automatic Integration: Most updates will download during the AMR's scheduled "Stillness Period" (charging cycle).
Manual Alignment: If your unit requires manual intervention, a gold-pulsing light will appear on the primary sensor array. This is simply a request for a moment of your attention.
Guided Support
Should you feel any resistance in the update flow, our Flow Specialists (Support) are centered and ready to assist. We can guide you through:
Ensuring stable connectivity to the Astero Cloud.
Manually initiating the update via the Serveobot Interface.
Verifying the post-update calibration to ensure the AMR-03 has returned to its peak rhythm.
Mindful Tip for Autonomous Motion: Before initiating a manual update, ensure your AMR-03 is in a State of Repose—positioned in a low-traffic area with at least 40% energy reserves. Updating during active logistics cycles can disrupt the collective flow of your facility.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the AMR-03 lose its mapping memory? No. This update refines the way the robot thinks about the map, but the physical memory of your facility remains intact and undisturbed.
How long does the transition take? Most updates achieve full alignment within 12 to 15 minutes. We recommend allowing the unit to remain still for an additional 5 minutes afterward to recalibrate its internal gyroscopes.
